Our Facility
HSFC K is a modern, purpose-built fertility centre located in Muthaiga, a prime and easily accessible area of Nairobi. We have invested in state-of-the-art techniques and technologies, including the latest in vitro fertilisation (IVF) equipment, to ensure the highest standards of safety, precision, and care. Our calm, discreet setting, away from the congestion of the city centre, creates a supportive environment where patients can feel comfortable and confident in their care.
Our Team
Our strength lies in our people. HSFC K is supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of fertility specialists, embryologists, nurses, and support staff with extensive experience in reproductive medicine. Our lead fertility specialist, Dr Alfred Murage, is both locally and internationally recognised for his expertise in infertility care, with a strong commitment to ethical practice, clinical excellence, and patient wellbeing. Dr Edgar Gulavi, renowned for his attention to innovation and research, is an internationally qualified fertility specialist.
Our Approach
We take a customised, individualised approach to fertility care. Every couple undergoes a thorough and comprehensive medical assessment aimed at achieving an accurate, personalised diagnosis. Nothing is assumed, and nothing is done routinely.
We believe in thoughtful, evidence-based decision-making. It’s only recommended after all relevant investigations have been completed and carefully reviewed. This allows us to design a treatment strategy that is tailored specifically to you and aligned with international best practices.
Importantly, IVF is not automatically the first option. Where appropriate, we may recommend simpler, less invasive treatments that are more suitable for your situation. Our priority is not the most complex intervention, but the most appropriate and effective treatment for your individual needs.
